Patients report lost belongings during stays at Denver HealthJeanne Oxley blacked out in her backyard last month. When she woke up, she was in Denver Health Medical Center and immediately noticed something was missing.
“The first thing I did was feel my prosthetic eye was gone,” Oxley said. The hospital had misplaced her prosthetic right eye when she was unconscious and intubated by emergency room workers.
